Ribbon Card

I got this idea from my friend Diane. She posted a Christmas card using ribbon. I found this cute ribbon at Walmart and just had to try making one of these, too! Now, I think I'll make some more. That was pretty easy! And it really turned out neat - very different too!!!

Count Dracula

Here's another of the candy wrappers. I had to try out the Dracula. Boy was that ever easy to make! And aren't they adorable?!?!?

Meet My Mummy!!!!

Aren't these just adorable??? I got these great candy wrapper ideas from ChicnScratch. I am hoping to make a bunch of these for my son's class as Halloween treats. ChicnScratch wraps mini candy bars, where I am wrapping a full size Kit Kat. YUM!!! I just love how each little mummy has his own face and expression!!!

My coloring neeeeeds improvement!!!

So tonight I'm sitting here making a ton of cards and tried my hand at coloring - again. I used my marker and a blender pen to pick up the ink. It doesn't look so pretty. Oh well.... practice makes perfect. I added a few buttons and some googly eyes to this card to try to dress it up a bit. It needed all thehelp it could get.

Different take on the colorblock look

Had to vary it up a bit and try something a little different. I think I like this look as well as the others. Made this one into a baby girl card.

Puppy Colorblock Card

Yes, I am addicted to these cards! They are so easy to make! And I love how easily I can vary each card by style, color and design. How fun!!! This one is a thank you from my puppy dog to my BFFs daughter for caring for her while we were on vacation. Hence the pawprints rather than words.

Butterfly Colorblock Card

Here's yet another variation of the colorblock card - and I will say, I love how this one turned out, too!!!! (Shhh...... don't tell..... it's for my BFF for her Bday!)

Friends Colorblock Card

I just love these colorblock cards! They are soooo simple to make, so fast to make and look cute when done - and I can vary them in soooooooo many ways!!!!!!!

Colorblock Card

I had to try out this new tutorial (actually I didn't even watch the video). I just looked at the picture of the card, made my own measurements and my own rendition. Here is the link to the you tube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hodWT_BpKJ8 if you want to watch it and give it a go yourself. I just bought this new set of stamps from TPC Studio called "Woodland Whimsy Clear Stamps". Don't ya just love this little bird? It's sooo cute!!!
